  • Kyana Hall-Toney, DMFT

    Kyana earned her Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in May 2022. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Kyana obtained her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kyana graduated with a Bachelor’s in Applied Psychology with a Minor in Women, Gender and Sexual Studies. She has experience working with the youth of a diversion program, the domestic violence(DV) population, and the homeless population. Kyana has provided individual, couples, group, and family therapy. Throughout her work experiences and education, Kyana has used therapy models of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy( DBT), Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), play therapy, empowerment model, and filial therapy. She has led psycho-educational groups such as parenting and DBT skills groups. Kyana has also been trained in DV core comp, DBT, and TF-CBT. Kyana’s approach to therapy is family systems, narrative, and solution-focused. Every person has a unique path and purpose, sometimes that is a reflection of our life stories and family history. Kyana is a therapist who helps guide clients on their path to success.
