  • Lexus Barkdoll

Lexus is a dedicated Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Barry University, specializing in working with at risk youth. With a strong commitment to advocating for marginalized communities and promoting social justice, Lexus brings a combination of academic rigor and hands-on experience to their work.

Lexus has gained practical skills through internships at Girl Power Rocks, and Accelerated learning solutions, where they provided case management, counseling, and life skills to at risk youth. Their work focuses on fostering empowerment, resilience, and positive change in the lives of their clients.

Prior to pursuing their MSW, Lexus earned a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Barry University. This academic foundation, combined with volunteer experiences such as working with Afghan refugees, has shaped their commitment to creating systemic change through compassionate and evidence-based practice.

Lexus is particularly interested in trauma-informed care, and mental health advocacy, and plans to pursue licensure as an LCSW or a leadership role in nonprofit management. Lexus strives to make a lasting impact by blending empathy, cultural humility, and advocacy in their social work practice.
