Alaysia Harris, MSW
I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and have clinical experience in mental health and substance use treatment. I am passionate about empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges, overcome barriers, and achieve lasting emotional wellness and recovery.
My clinical experience includes individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and motivational interviewing. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic techniques, to provide individualized care that meets each client’s unique needs.
I believe meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and understanding. My approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, creating a safe and supportive environment, and helping them develop the tools needed for personal growth, healing, and long-term success.
Beyond my professional work, I am actively involved in my church and enjoy mentoring and serving youth in my community. My faith, clinical experience, and dedication to service inspire my commitment to helping individuals and families build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
