Sheila St. Fleur

Sheila St. Fleur is a Clinical Social Work Intern, who is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program at Florida International University. She has worked as a case manager in different settings and as a substance addiction specialist, primarily focusing on mental health. Her passion includes helping clients cope with life’s stressors and encouraging them to live a life of success by empowering them with self-motivation skills. Her approach is meeting the clients where they are as she understands everyone has had different life experiences and will have a unique healing process. She strives to assist clients and their families in processing emotions, identifying triggers, noticing red flags, and learning coping techniques to decrease symptoms to manage everyday challenges. She has experience with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. She fosters a safe space and welcomes all who want to enter.
